David Lesondak; BCSI, KMI, FFT, LMT is a member of the Allied Health Professional Staff in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UPMC, a board certified Structural Integrator, visceral manipulator and fascial fitness trainer. David’s Structural Integration (SI) method capitalizes on a vast and eclectic background of education and training in myofascial specialties. His studies include advanced SI training, joint replacement rehab, visceral manipulation, scoliosis care, pediatrics and yoga. He specializes in treating people with chronic pain, pre- and post-surgical issues, physical performance enhancement goals and those managing cancer. His private practice working with individuals is the heart of his work and the reason for his search for new knowledge and techniques. Richard Finn, CMTPT, LMT Richard is a graduate of the Academy of Myotherapy and Physical Fitness and the Academy of Health Sciences (Fort Sam Houston USAR – Physical Therapy Specialist, He is not a PT). He earned his CMT through the Life Credit Program at the Colorado School of Healing Arts. Vanessa Sifontes Vanessa is a speech language pathologist that began her career in oncology after completing specialized training in cases involving voice restoration and rehabilitation after total laryngectomy in 2009. Most of her one-on-one contact with patients was alongside Dr. Ron J. Karni, MD, who serves as Chief of the Division of Head and Neck, Surgical Oncology, in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery at UT Physicians in Houston, TX. There, Vanessa led the organization and facilitation of program growth within the Outpatient Speech Language Pathology team across eight outpatient sites and teams. In addition, she worked in program development to craft measurable key performance indicators that, at the time, not only benefited the patient, but the program as a whole. In summer of 2017, she moved to Denver, Colorado and began working with Oncology Rehab as the Clinical Coordinator of Head and Neck Cancer Program. Since, she has joined PORi (Physiological Oncology Rehabilitation Institute) in an effort to provide state of the art continuing education that focuses on patient based learning lead by research, as well as evidence based practice. As a PORi Certified Oncology Rehabilitation Specialist, Vanessa is dedicated to serving her community and expanding knowledge across the US. Ross Turchaninov, MD (Ukrane), Phd, LMT Founder of SOMI, Science of Massage Institute Author; Medical Massage, Owner, SOMI Medical Massage Training Seminars Phoenix, AZ Dr Turchininov also known as “Dr Ross”, graduated from Odessa Medical Institute, named N.I. Pirogov, in 1983. After graduation from medical school he was accepted in the special residency program in the Kiev Institute of Orthopedics which allowed him to start their PhD work at the same time while finishing his residency. Kiev Institute of Orthopedics is the largest orthopedic and rehabilitation hospital in the Ukraine, and a world known research facility. The most difficult clinical cases from the entire country are sent there and Dr Ross completed the program in 1985. Dr Ross has published more than 50 articles in medical journals, and has written three books which were very well received by the massage, physical therapy, chiropractic and medical communities. Dr Ross presented at the Annual Meeting of American Academy of Pain Management in 2007.
