Have you moved? NAMTPT NEEDS to know!

If you are certified through the CBMTPT or/and a member of the NAMTPT, your attention for a moment please!

This email is an automatically generated reminder to keep your contact information up to date including any change of address, email or phone number.

The CBMTPT uses your contact information to communicate important information including renewal information and membership information. Your city is also listed with your name on their website listing of actively certified therapists, this can help you to be found if someone is looking for a therapist in their area.

If you have passed the Certification exam offered by National Certification Board for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists it is to be renewed every 5 years. They will not look for you, you MUST contact  them in your address is changed.

To notify the CBMTPT of your change of name, email, phone number, or address, making note of what the changes are, send the information in writing to: CBMTPT c/o Professional Testing Corporation, 1350 Broadway, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10018

You can check your expiration date any time by going to  http://www.cbmtpt.org/CBMTPT_Cert.aspx   All certified people through the CBMTPT are listed there with city and date of expiration.

If you are unsure of your renewal date for your MTPT Certification, or the information seems wrong, contact the PTC directly. Here is their information. Professional Testing Corporation at www.ptcny.com or call (212)356-0660.

Also notify your school or teaching program and if you are a NAMTPT MEMBER, change your info on the NAMTPT website  http://www.myofascialtherapy.org/  click on "members area" then use the email that you are listed in the directory with and your password. There is a "forgot password button" if you need it.  Once in, you can see a "view password" button at the very bottom left side. This will allow you to Edit your profile by clicking on the EDIT button.

If you get the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies, please send Mary Jo a text (best) or call or email that you have changed your address, if they are not notified, you will miss out on those issues and they go into the ethers and they are usually lost.

The contact information for the other certification exams can be found at: http://myofascialtherapy.org/training/certification.html

Thank you for taking the time now to change information that might need kept up to date. It is very important that you make the changes ASAP as it saves time and $ for us  (NAMTPT) and could save you from having to retake the test to regain your Certification!

There may be other professional associations that you need to contact also.

Thank you so much
